Alex Zazzi

President & CEO

Alex Zazzi is the Co-Founder and President of United Production Partners founded in 2019 and also serves as President of EnerVest Operating, LLC since 2018. Prior to this position, Alex served as EVP and COO of EnerVest Operating.

Alex is a petroleum engineer with over two decades of oil and natural gas industry experience including several senior management and technical positions within EnerVest. Prior to his leadership positions, he held several engineering roles including drilling, completions, production, and reservoir in the lower 48. He began his career with Schlumberger and served as an offshore completions specialist in the Gulf of America.

Externally, Alex is a champion of youth recreational sports and is a volunteer coach through several of the area’s local sports organizations. He has been instrumental in the development of young athletes in lacrosse, basketball, football, and soccer. Additionally, he volunteers for the STEM centered Hands on Science for young students.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science degree with high honors in petroleum engineering from Montana Technical University in 2003.
